Susan Van Etten has traveled the globe with her camera in tow. While raising a family, Susan used her background in art history and began working in photo research, finding photographs for all levels of textbooks. Soon after, she began shooting stock photography to fill a niche for images on demand. It was the perfect pairing, combining her passion for travel and work.

Her portfolio has grown expediently since then. She switched to digital photography as soon as the technology became available and continues to use the most up to date equipment on the market.

As an image research consultant, Susan builds on years of experience, now using the internet to full advantage. She can locate images, research and source material in an extremely organized and timely manner. Susan handles large and complicated projects, working with authors, editors, and designers to efficiently organize and research projects, create databases for permissions of copyrighted material and credit lists and insure that the photo program is creatively executed.
